Slowly getting my corner of the garage moved out. I have until July to figure out a living situation.

Think I mightve got a summer internship, so that’s neat

 

only like 2 out of 60 employees in the office responded to a survey saying they wanted to go back to working in the office....but they might disregard that and make it mandatory anyways

 

Were you already working from home before the pandemic or from the office? I forget

I wish I could WFH on the days I'm not shooting here at work, realistically that's just one, maybe 2 days a week now. The rest of the work I do could easily be done remotely.

Owner of this company would never be OK with people not coming into the building though.

 

He should have thought of that before firing everyone

 

I was able to WFH 2-3 days a week before going full time last march.

the wrench in all of this is that my office is a satellite office comprised of tech-only employees. There are approx 1000 employees at the other office and the powers that be want to have one universal stance/policy on attendance.


Between that and dealing with some continued personal/family stuff I'm hoping I'll have a better idea of what moving will look like by the end of the summer.

I do wonder how this is going to effect my ability long term to work with other people again, I mean it's been years now lol.
