Decided to not make them tied into existing reverse but to be enabled on demand. I've taken the interior panels and console and dash apart so many times I'm feeling like an expert lol...

Found a grommet behind the driver seat in the floor and cut an X into the rubber and used that to feed out the harness. Covered it with conduit for protection and zip tied at appropriate locations along the frame with existing wire bundles.

Man I held my breath drilling the 3/4" hole in the console plastic for the switch! And it actually works and looks like the factory put it there. You can see my stereo amp on a taco tunes mounting plate that worked perfectly for mounting the S2 harness relay on.

That is a really nice setup!

I claim a relay is not required - can easily find switches that will handle 1.8 A.

I agree, but the lights came with that harness so I figured, eh, why not..

Are they bright? Been wondering how the Baja Designs are. With my rear ditch lights I just wired them under the truck and back up through the driver side fireplace, put the switch next toe the rear cab light.

Very clean install! I have s2's sitting on the shelf that I've been meaning to install.

Those littler BD lights are pretty stupid bright. Even brighter are the S1s.

    Nice!
    - What kind of bumper is that? (Mobtown?)
    - Just curious; why the S2 over the S1 (Output specs look similar on paper)

Bumper is from Apogee Offroad. They're almost done making a gate system that attaches to their bumpers also, which is great so I can move the tire from underneath to the back plus hang my jerry cans. The cutouts for the S2 lights were done by the manufacturer and they sized them for the S2's.
