Yea I love those things but that is way more than what I want to spend on reverse lights. I just put the westin 4" round driving lights in my front bumper and they are bright and cheap.

Those Vision X lights are awfully pretty :D. (Also awfully expensive for reverse lights :()

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

Well I know there a little pricey but Ive have done some trails at night going out to a camp ground and had to go back due to a tree down in the middle of the road."Way to big for my chain saw" The trail was so tight I couldn't turn around I had to drive in reverse for a wile before i could turn around. It had to be at least 3 to 5 miles after that night I told myself I'm getting some bright ass backup lights.

I have also dunked my bumper in a creek crossing it so I'm doing it right the first time 100% water proof shock proof and bright as hell not to mention they look sick.

Well they're definitely nice, I don't blame you for wanting them. I plan on going some other route for rear-end lighting myself. Although those ones are pretty awesome.

Yeah its really what you need for your truck. I think if i had 4" round fogs or something like that I would break them. unless the mounts on the bumper were sealed from the back side water would be constantly hitting the back of the light in the rain. And if I buy a sealed halogen light it's subject to blowing out and then I would have to replace the whole light.

So the smart choice is sealed LED backup lights. Water proof so the rain water and dust don't get into your light housings & nearly shock proof for longer life. and LED's just look better to my eye.

    That's my 2c

So Tim hows that bumper coming? We all are waiting to see the wrap around and receiver :)

I think you will save money in the long run with LED's. Yeah they might be more money to buy but over the life of the LED you would probably be replacing the halogens quite a few times maybe even the housings.

I know paying 120 bucks for one backup light seams crazy but think of the long term you will most likely never have to replace these light ever again.

I know when I have Tim build my front bumper I'm going to have recessed LED light bars maybe 8" Vision X Evo Prime or I might just do 3 or 4 2" SOLSTICE lights with different beams to cover a wide range of light output and to be able to control how many lights I want on at any given time I just haven't decided yet.
