Restored air conditioning functionality. Replaced a spewing A/C discharge line, re - serviced, blows icy cold just in time for summer heat to roll in in Southern California.

That's a target attachment for a frame measuring system. Someone measured the frame for straightness or to repair frame damage. Then they accidentally forgot to remove it.
I know because I do that for a living using that same measuring system

yes... but not because of the covers, those are just black covers to protect them until needed.

Just an FYI, the reflective coating on the headlight reflectors is aluminum that's applied through a physical vapor deposition process. It has a very thin silicate top coat on it to protect it from oxidation. The caustic solution eats through the top coat and the aluminum. The chrome on your grille surround is exactly that, chrome. It will be more durable so I don't think it will work the same. I used to work for the company that makes our lights.

I keep thinking about adding some but want a good way to black out the interior first.

I haven't got black out in cabin figured out yet either,... I'm hoping ditching all the dash switches for a switch-pro helps, but for now, with my PVS14's I just don't look down for now and I'm ok:rofl:

won't it just tear again in short order if you don't install extended-length version CV boot to handle the increased stress angle from a 3" lift

Personally not a fan of the bug deflectors but this doesn't look bad at all. Very cool.

Makes perfect sense. I was rear ended a few months ago, and the repair center checked the frame. Thanks for the insight!

It took over 120,000 miles to tear. I should be good for another 8 years. I’ll reboot my old axles and have them ready to go for next time.

When I changed my oil yesterday, I noticed the engine coolant in the reservoir was at the “low” level mark. I would normally drain all the fluid and just add new - probably more for piece of mind than any actual utility.

Would you guys just top off with more coolant?

Id look around at all the hose connections and near the t-stat and water pump and see if you can find any trace of where the leak is coming from.

It didn’t hurt. I was walking towards a tree and the next thing I know, I’m on the ground with my rifle in front of me.

I did look around, and didn’t see any leaks, but of course that doesn’t mean there aren’t any.

I would fill to the level, making a note of how low it was and when you filled and pop the hood in a month.......
I pop the hood on all my vehicles the first day of the month, and check fluids, battery and check oil.
