I deleted that not wanting to stir the pot. The point is you are the difficult person. People are just trying to help, so maybe chill with the diva act.

you deleted it because you realized it was a stupid comment, I get it.

I don't know how you think I'm being a diva.

"anyone have a saddle recommendation they've tried under 50$ that comes in 15cm? I've ridden miles and don't need more saddle time, I don't like the chamois butter, I wear chamois"

    answers I received:

    70$ saddle recommendation
    more saddle time
    try chamois butter
saddle recommendation that doesn't come in 15cm
saddle they didn't like (somewhat helpful)

so since a forum of people thinks they have to chime in with everything BUT an answer to the question asked, it makes me the diva?

    stfu.

Maybe we need to combine the belt sander and one of those ab belt machines from the '50s and then market it to Peloton!

I thought the same thing, I also thought he should ask you what you did to calm down after the last e-bike discussion.

lol FOUR UNCLES bike seat. I imagine a black leather couch for some reason at that brand name.

yes Amazon is a good bet for cheap "trial and error" seats, but I didn't see the harm in asking for recommendations if someone else had done it first or was currently riding a good cheap saddle. apparently, I was wrong!

No bitching about people trying to help you makes you a diva. You have received multiple saddle recs in your price range and are even planning to try lowering your seat based on a comment that was not what you specifically asked for. It's almost like people who have been doing this for decades might have an answer to a question you don't even know to ask. But sure, being an ass about it is one way to go.

listen "experienced man" until you've met me and understand anything about me, don't make comments about how you assume I am. I thanked those for the comments that actually answered my question, or that were completely new suggestions that I didn't initially say I've tried.

I don't see those folks getting all fussy like you.

Find a shop with test saddles. Dealers for Fabric, Specialized, and Fizik usually have loaner saddles so you can try before you buy.

Also.... You may never find the right saddle. I've been riding for 20+ years. I've tried hundreds of saddles. I've been measured, scanned, etc. Still haven't found the perfect saddle. I have a couple of favorites which are close at least

IIRC it was skin chaffing, not skin bruising, so problem solved.

the secret to using vaseline is to make sure your cheeks are clenched on your saddle the whole time.
