I have water coming in from the front two corners, drivers side towards the back, and the rear corners where the hatch corners are. Here is what Ibhave done so far:

    1. Added more clamps, spread them out evenly, and tightened them all down trying to compress the seal better. Made some improvement.

    20201214_164051.jpg

    2. Sealed the Front Runner doors where the logos are inset into the first layer, no change.

    20210430_064338.jpg

    3. Changed the rear flap to cover the holes on each side better, big improvement but not 100%.

    20210430_064331.jpg

    4. Added a rubber seal to where the front flap is all the way back and around, will test for water leaks in the next couple of days.

Same here. Metal bed rail caps + VO triple bulb seal = zero leaks. Not even one drop. Even with a car wash. I don’t know if any other camper has that kind of success rate in sealing.

    GFC certainly doesn’t lmao.

@Kclamer did you transfer the drifter to your truck? If you’re local in CA and get access to a forklift, I have 4x4s cut out to lift the camper. I’ll help re-seal it

Ah man. Well I saw someone build a little jig with a floor jack to lift their entire camper up to redo the seal. Here's what mine looks like...

Is that a handle on the side of the drifter for climbing up? Great idea.

Speaking of climbing up on the side, I keep one of these in the rear door cubby to help me access the top of the Drifter (clean solar panels, put xmas tree on top, etc)

    Just the basics
I looked for someone at your rig during my walks around camp. Never could tell who the truck belonged to and didn't want to intrude on anyone.

Still struggling to justify one of these but they do seem like a fun toy to pick up!

We absolutely love it. It has definitely allowed us to up our cooking game while camping and we have also used it around the house for freezer/fridge cleanings to storage for parties outside when we didn’t want to run in and out all the time.

Expensive yes but worth it for us.

I swear by this stuff. Just mold small amounts into gaps. Find a dark spot and a bright light or someone inside the Drifter with a flashlight to find the leaks. This has a consistency kind of like chewing gum. Home Depot carries it.

Every year when tax refund season rolls around, I get mighty tempted...I've gotta save for a wedding now though so I think that ship may have sailed for a little while.

That picture is the REI parking lot where I got 20% off on it. Game changer on the cost as well. Maybe a Black Friday deal for you to get one right before it gets really cold and you don't need it super bad is a good target? lol
