What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Looks great! nice waterport. I have the Molle bed panels and have been wanting to get some rotopax. Did you need anything special to mount them with? What size rotopax are those? TIA

 

Well after waiting so long...interior molle panels finally came in from hector

Installed the ESI ROK BLOCK Tailgate Gap Cover. Photos aren't great, but you get the idea

 

Nice! Rotate that tip a little so the small hole is facing the ground. It allows for condensation draining.

Time for the bi-annual hand wash with Dawn soap and bucket and then followed up with a wax job using Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic wax.
I am the guy who waxes the inside door sills.




Getting the KDMAX tune next Saturday, feel like a kid a few days before Christmas.

 

You wax the inside of the door sills but choose to wash it with Dawn?

 

I use the dawn soap to cut whatever old wax may still be there. Strips it good then followed up with a fresh wax.

 

dishwashing soap its strong and remove all protectants and old wax, oils, coverings. its referred to as a stripwash before a full detail, to add fresh new protectants/sealers/wax

 

Finally got around to installing my hood struts

With the assistance of @wahoobie got the KDMax 6.0 SLT Performance Tune flashed yesterday. Only had it for a day, but what a difference. I wish I would have taken my truck directly to @wahoobie after buying the truck off the lot. All the hesitation and shifting issues I was having over the last year are now GONE. Multiple trips to the dealer only to be told, "that is a normal characteristic for this truck" and "just drive it, you'll get used to it". The truck drives like it should have directly from Toyota. I couldn't be happier. If you live in south-east Virginia @wahoobie is your guy.

Had mine done 2 weeks ago, drives like a completely different truck. Hands down.....no better mod for the $
