Does anyone have any issues with the bedsides and the front of the bed spreading apart with a topper or anything similar mounted to the bed?
I know the rear part by the tailgate does and I already have the rago fab stiffeners, but I'm wondering if I need to reinforce the front part also.

IceCo test fit. Now to wire constant power as all factory outlets are switchable. There is a fuse block under MTX with ample wiring so not hard to do. Need to get a socket panel and it will be nice and clean.

Yes it can happen and does plenty with people that have toppers it bed racks. Why I say it's better to have a bed rack with a front bar across the bed.

For a topper idk what I'd do. Some sort of bracket to connect them.

I gave my Taco a well deserved rest. Now that the weather has warmed up and nights are over 50 DegF I'm going to use alternate transportation for my daily (and nightly) commute at least a few days per week.
My commute is about 53 miles round trip so I save about $8 in gas when I ride the bike. 100+ MPG is something the Taco just can't compete against!

Yeah, although a pretty minor issue compared the rest of my bed and cracking.

I built some brackets out of flat bar to beef those corners up. They bolt in using the stock bolts on the side, and are riveted to the bedrail on the top. You would need to pull the bed to install.

I'm 6'4" and used to crane my neck at stoplights, but now I have A "LightInSight" and there's no more craning of the neck.

What's the best cat back with best flow and tone out there? Not looking at downey. I don’t know if they corrected their backflow issues with the 3.0 versus the 3.4 L

I don’t think downeys been in business for over 10 years. I’ve been happy with my magnaflow cat back. Borla is usually a good one too

It’s around 2008 prices now but considering how much money they added to the money supply since then, it can get worse unfortunately..

60$ Per barrel of crude keeps my friends and family employed, so I can’t say I mind too much, not that bad here yet.

Spoke to another Tacoma owner today (4 door automatic 4x2) and he’s looking to downsize to a 5 lug stick shift just for the gas savings ironically enough

Installed the new next generation RUTHENIEM type Spark plugs today.
    Engine definitely runs smoother.
They make a turbo-supercharger style and regular style.
The new RUTHENIEM type plugs have an impressive improvement over the older plugs
Old NGK 22k still look ok for having 50,000 miles on them,
    No carbon, no oil depots

My BMW takes those bastards, $25 a plug. Makes me long for the days of $1.65 copper plugs. At least they last 15-20k lol

That's no so bad, my tacoma and land cruiser wouldn't really benefit from em. They still had .005 to wear when I pulled em at 35k. I wish the Bimmer wouldn't eat up the spendy plugs but if you put anything but the Ruthenium plugs in you get breakup (I'm gapped at .018) and they wear out in 3k mi. But that's running 24psi at 10.2:1 compression, I bet they last a ton longer in the 5vz and probably stay gapped in the sweet spot longer too.

    24 psi!! Ouch,
The NGK 22k start to see some small gap wear around 50,000 on my truck,
So these new improved NGK will definitely be a positive

Haha 24psi equals a lot of smiles with that much compression and it's still 91oct tune. I'd love to turn it up, we just got e85 where I live. But it's always sold out when I get to the pump.
