Just got these installed and took some pictures incase someone wanted to see how they would look on a 2nd gen. These are relatively cheap compared to similar well made tires and look great.

what was the full size list of yours? SL, LT, E rated? looking like you opted for the serial side out. did you get blackwall specific, or white letters and then have the letters inside? lots of options and looks for this tire. yours looks awesome! Ski

My tires are 285/70R17 rated at 117T. I also choose no white letters.

Awesome, thank you. I'm brand new to this forum and pretty much starting off with my first Tacoma. What would you recommend for lifts or suspension to accommodate these wheels? I am just concerned about the stress of these tires on my 4cylinder, but with what I've been reading it shouldn't be too bad?

I've been researching a lot on tires and trying to decide between 265/70/17 or 285/70/17. Initially I was wanting 265 with BFG KO2 or Falken Wilpeak and are 46-47 lbs. Then I saw the TOYO AT3 in 285 was also 47 lbs. What size tires did you have before, and how did it affect the ride? Since it's on the lighter side compared to other 285 tires, how much worse did the transmission hunt for gears? Did you notice much difference compared to your previous set up? Sorry for all the questions. It's a big jump from 265 to 285 since it will require a lift, some trimming, and money.

Looks great! I love those wheels, are they SCS F5? How has your ride been with those tires? And what load rating did you go with? I'm really interested on going with 285. It just looks so much better on Tacomas. Don't get me wrong 265s also look great on Tacos, but 285s just kicks it up a notch.
