Pretty impressed so far. Did a lot of research and there seemed to be much more good than bad input. I took a ride in a neighbors 2010 TRD Sport with the exhaust and was surprised at how subdued it was. Maybe that's because I have a Corsa Pace Car setup with headers on another vehicle..:D

For those who may be on the fence, I say go for it. Here's a quick before and after clip:

    Before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDBDvYC8L84

    After: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uei2oWoMnuw

And yes, it really only takes 20 minutes.

    Take care,

    Rossi

Great before and after. Ive been trying to find a video that minimizes the variables of sound quality. Its surprising how similar they sound at idle. Can you hear a difference while driving?

HuntnTruk...Yes. When I'm idling around the neighborhood at around 1,200 RPM and when I hammer it. It really is a quality exhaust. Zero noise or drone at highway speeds...

Perhaps my intake causes drone then. I don't have much, but there is a small unobtrusive one (I like it) at highway speeds.

jandrews...Could be if you have an aftermarket intake. I haven't put a lot of highway miles on it, but I'm thinking It'll be okay...

Here I was thinking I would never put an exhaust on a V6 and you come along with this clip. Now my wheels are turning. Sounds good, congrats.

Cool videos. Thanks for the effort. I assume that's a "Cat Back"? It looks like the same thing that's on mine. At first my buddy thought it was just a tip and I had to show him it was the real deal. With the TRD intake too, it's "throaty" and pulls like a freight train.

    TRD CAI.

No offense to the OP, but there's a LOT of background noise in that clip. In person, there's not nearly as much feedback and it's mostly just throaty rumble. Sounds much better than the clip.

jandrews...Background noise has to be the engine, because it's inside of a garage with the doors closed (cracked)!

It's the reverberation causing feedback in the mic...it's confusing what the exhaust actually sounds like.

Of course, there's no accounting for what it sounds like on your particular speakers, so meh.

I listened to it again and I think you're right. It's the engine noise bouncing around in the garage..

It does sound better in person though!

Yeah. Because of the large displacement and higher compression, these sixes sound very performance oriented when you let a little extra sound out with an exhaust and CAI. Almost like the high-revving sixes or small-displacement V8s you hear in Lotuses and the like...they're not deep and burbly, they're deep and very smoooooth....rrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmm.
