33's? Regear? Headwind? I'd say normal.

33's, stock gear, headwind or not does it every day. every time dealer messed with computer problem would be resolved for about 500 miles so that tells me its not a problem with tires lift or gear.

Nothing on the far side of the torque curve and holding a steady speed should do that repeatably.

As he said it’s dealer modified on 33s

    Definitely not normal

What sort of info have you got after your first 13 visits?

Not ok you’ve been strung along that many times.

Your spedo hasn't been corrected either right? So you're maybe doing 84 in that first video? I think it's normal.

if you quickly skim through the first post you'll read that the dealership will often just hookup the techstream scanner and bless it off which isn't close to actually checking it. Ask them to actually get down and dirty and do a proper fluid check. At the very least, them actually checking the fluid level will knock if off the list of a possible culprit

By now they should’ve been knee deep in the valve body, but Toyota would probably rather swap in a new tranny to isolate the problem if normal troubleshooting hasn’t produced a culprit. They should at least know by now if it’s ECU related or an internal transmission issue.

I sure hope the fluid level has been verified by now.

Hope you get it solved OP, that’s a really nice looking truck.

thank you I appreciate it, I have gone as far as opening a TAS case with toyota corp, and they have yet to send a field rep out to look at truck, i have been getting major run around by dealer and toyota corp, I feel as if they dont want to touch the truck because of modifications, yet they were the ones who put everything on.

Remember they don’t have that luxury. That’s the beauty of your position. You paid a LOT of extra money to have those products selected and installed by Toyota trained techs.
You are more than justified in being a proverbial thorn in their side.

EDIT: does this only occur while cruise is on? Does it downshift if you approach another vehicle from behind (when using the radar cruise, not the old fashioned one)
