Does this tune address the shifting issue on the autos? Where can I get some info on this?

I've been mulling over trading my Taco for a Raptor or supercharging the Taco to get better drivability.

I guarantee you it does! That's the biggest issue that this tune fixes is the gear hunting bullshit 6-5-4-5-6-5-4-5-4-5-6-5-4 dance. Let the reviews speak for themselves bud!

Yes it addresses Auto shifting issues and a lot more, you will think your driving a Raptor after this tune...HA!

Thanks for all the replies. I traded my Taco for a Raptor yesterday. Hard deal to pass up - Paid wholesale price for the Raptor and got more than I paid for my Taco on trade. Market is freaking NUTS right now.

Only 32 hours to go now, the suspense is barely manageable. My friends just can't seem to understand why I would pay someone money to flash my truck ECU. They just haven't driven in our shoes and do not know the frustration we have to drive our trucks. The 3rd Gen's supposedly have 40+ HP more than the 2nd Gen's did. I have yet to feel that increase in power but I hope after Saturday I will.

 

My 79 year old dad drives a 2010 Nissan Frontier 2wd. About 2 years ago he had it at a shop and he got a 2019 2wd Tacoma as a loaner for a week. He hated that Tacoma and wondered why I liked my truck so much. I told him I didn’t necessarily like my truck but that I tolerated it’s issues due to its redeeming qualities. And that was while on OVTune and 4.88’s.

I like my truck now!

And to be honest, my dads frontier drives really good. Power, smooth, holds gears, 20 mpg Highway, you know like a normal V6 light truck should! Tows like a champ too.
Turn radius doesn’t match the Tacoma though and it doesn’t look near as sharp!
