This hits home. I got pedal bite for the first time in a long time two nights ago. I have been riding road bikes and haven't really been thrashing the hard tail, more XC kind of stuff. I went out and had some fun on the squishy squish.

It hurt like a bitch. I missed it but didn't miss it.



PS, growing up in the BMX world, I have a certain cynicism toward a lot of bike companies. Race Face is great, but I'll get the knock offs (FOOKER ) any day of the week. They'll last just as long and be just as good. they won't have any warranty worth a damn, but they're just the same parts out of the same catalogue for half the cost. You're paying for RF's marketing department.

Good lord, I can only imagine the TW Discord dumpster fire based on a few other groups I may or may not be involved in.

 

I dont go into it often - but may have been inclined to drop in more if you guys were in it.

 

I prob wouldn't TBH. Just one more outlet I'd need to keep some degree of track of. I can barely keep up with TW proper these days it seems.

yeah same. I only keep track of this thread and the Utah thread. and that's enough for me. lol. Sometimes I'll browse the other info threads for 3rd gen stuff for anythign i need to watch out for.

My experience on discord is that its been more like highly topical 4chan than a reasonably well moderated TW main site.
