I have a set of chrome I would just about give away. Or at least so cheap you would think you stole them. They are in a box in my shop. I just don’t want the hassle of shipping them.

That’s exactly what I wanted. Didn’t want to have to re-route any microphones, go splicing stuff or wireless CarPlay. Just as OEM as possible.

Put in a full shift in the dealership waiting area while my fuel pump recall was done. I was starting to feel like George Constanza bumming around while Jerry buys a Saab. Never did figure out who took the last Twix.

But the pump is done and I was able to talk them into updating the software for the engine & trans. I wouldn’t say the change in driveability is earth-shattering, but there is a change, most notably in how “harshly” gears engage from R to D (maybe I’m just crazy?).

 

If I had an army green I'd do that in a heartbeat. I love old WW2 warbirds......

I bought a can of fart putty (slime) at the dollar store and cleaned my interior without scratching the instrument panel/dash glass.

Final piece of storage added. Now gotta find one for other truck.

 

Put in the deaver stage 2’s, wescott front kit and ditched the sway bar. Started around noon, finished up about 8:30. Took it for a little spin, rides great. Didn’t have it in me to put the tires on, I’ll do that tomorrow.

I hope this thing settles a bit, it’s more than the 1 1/2 - 2” I was expecting!

Forgot to mention, used the method of lowering the LCA to disassemble the spring from the shock. Holy shit that’s SO much easier than using coil compressors!
