I did. I used sound deadener and wrapped it around it, and then some gorilla tape as well. It certainly won't hurt anything. We'll see if it helps though.

Got it dirty today, and added some lights in driving beam a few days ago. Was concerned about the hood glare, but it doesn’t seem to be too bad for the short periods of time I’ve used them. Going to start working on my bussman box in the next few days so I can get rid of the harness that came with the lights. I installed the lights with the brackets facing opposite ways on each light to try to decide which way I like the brackets facing after a little while of living with them. Going to switch it to the way the driver side light is.B5DBF298-3732-4E89-9BF0-65A7FD543616.jpg

I have not and haven't ordered anything yet.
I have my fender in the body shop awaiting paint, need to do that first.

My old membership only towed up to 3 miles, kinda lame.

The only thing I have used AAA for is to get some Euro when I went to Ireland and to exchange it when I got back.

Scuffed up and painted a grill surround. Bought the grill off Ebay and apparently "in like new condition" on Ebay means 3 broken tabs:annoyed:, but it should still work fine.
Installed Lambtek Innovations winch switch bracket and switch. Need to reroute and/or trim the cables a little, especially the one to the winch so it looks a little cleaner but I don't have the correct size ring terminals yet.

Added a Supreme Suspensions sway bar drop kit and new Energy Suspension bushings - amazing how that little bit of maintenance completely did away with the floating body roll feeling I'd had since I added the 5100s and OME 884s up front.

Did a little facelift over the weekend, headlight restore and a grille update. Fitment isn't that great, might be modding the orig one at some point.front1.jpg front2.jpg

I don’t hear much tranny noise even driving around with the console out and mine is just bare metal over the tunnel where the e-brake cables exit. I get way more noise through the rear cab wall if that panel is off.

If they had this style for 12’-15’ when I did my Satoshi mod I’d have opted for it instead. Mine is more ... unique is not wrong but at least fitment is spot on and I went to the trouble of heat molding it into a 3D shape.

That’s surprising. I used to have a solid shifter for the tranny and it was noisy as hell. Maybe it’s because mines older with 215k miles on the tranny.

Well, finally taking my truck in for some diagnostics on the A/C. For over two years now i would randomly get the blinking A/C light. Like once every three months random. I would just turn it off, then back on and all would be normal... A/C would blow cold. I replaced the relay that is a common issue but that didn't fix anything. Finally, the other day the A/C light stayed on but wouldn't blow cold at all. Think its time to have a professional look at it. Hopefully just an evacuation and refill.

I don’t even have any carpet there, just the 2”yoke that connected the 2 sides behind the stick and even that’s gone now. The console only covers about a 1” lip of carpet around the perimeter.

Retightened all the loose door lock shit. Replaced the rusty passenger side bolt going through my sliders and frame into the rear crossmember. Had the local 4WD shop airhammer out the bolt and welded nut with a broken head on the other side, and replace it with a new nut and bolt. Fixed a leak in my exhaust that the shop owner pointed out to me, which I had thought was elsewhere on the line.
