I’ll check out the Kenda’s. Maxxis was on my the mental checklist of mods to make if I am able to pick up another Grom.

That sucks, how many miles have you put on the 500 so far? You need to get a supermoto setup for it.

exactly 31 on the clock right now, have not touched the bike in about a week and a half now though, I need to warm it up and change the oil now before my next rip

been using the cbr though a decent amount, finally installed those levers I picked up some months back

with this welcomed spring weather a lot of free time has been taken up by random house projects

Sounds like how it is with my Grom. Just can’t find anytime to ride the stupid thing. Still haven’t explored Charlotte on it yet.
I was working a charity event downtown last weekend when a group of dirtbikes and quads rolled by. Bunch of them doing wheelies. Best picture I could get.

Ordered new tires last night from Revzilla for my Buell. While I was messing around with it last weekend I looked at the date codes on the tires and realized just how old they are. Dunlop Roadsmart from 2008 but not really that many miles on them. Doubt I've put more than 2k miles on that bike since 2010 or so. I figure I rarely ride this bike anymore yet won't sell it so time for some new stickier tires since tread life isn't an issue. Got a good deal on a pair of Michelin Pilot Powers and the reviews seem decent.

My brother runs the pilot powers on his bike and loves them. I've always ran the perelli diablo corso. All great tires though.

I was really pretty uncertain of what I wanted to put on it this time. The Buell was my primary ride from when I bought it new up until around 2010 and I used to put some fairly serious miles on it so I used to run tires that offered a decent blend of grip, including wet weather, and tread life. It also helped that I was working for a dealership in those days and got all my stuff at a healthy discount and one of the techs would mount tires for me after hours for a 6-pack or two. It's now an occasional ride for bike shows or events so the tires are more likely to age out than to get worn out so i figure I'll try something stickier than I have in the past. Helps that I bought a Nomar tire changer last summer and can now mount my own tires at home. Price on these made the decision pretty easy. Under $200 for the pair delivered to my door. With the miles I currently put on the bike even if they're thrashed in 3k miles that'll still be 3-4 years of use.

Aaron's show is one of my favorites on Red Bull TV. He had a good Project Two Stroke series on a CR125 restore in prep for Day in the Dirt at Glen Helen. But good god, it's a CR125... Not quite the reputation of its bigger CR250 & CR500 bros.

Yea I don't ride as much as I use to anymore. I rode alot till like 2014 and slowed way down. Marriage then a year later divorced. And never really got back into it. I've probably put 4k mil on it since 14.

Extreme machines sucks. They are a bunch of dbags in there. My dealer that used to go to all the time closed about 10years ago. Sad they were great and had great employees.

Have not been to Hanover motorsports yet
