Hey friends. I am offering PapaRee’s performance tune (and base OVtuning for 2019 V6 AT’s only) for 3rd gen V6 Tacoma’s in the Middle-Tennessee area. Let me be the first person to tell you that this ECU flash tune turns your Taco into a completely different truck. It does more than simply tweak the throttle. It fixes shift points, improves engine noise (a lot quieter idling), your AT will no longer wonder what gear it needs to be in during acceleration, and if your Taco was like mine then around the 3500-4000rpm range during highway acceleration the truck didn't know what it wanted to do resulting in bogged down performance in the power band - with Papa’s tune that’s utterly gone.

We have dyno results on the premium octane variant which offers up to an additional 37hp! Even with regular octane you’re going to fall back in love with your Taco all over again.

In all seriousness, the first time I goosed the throttle after getting my truck up to temperature, it was legitimately difficult to tell that I was in my Tacoma and not a V8 sports car of some kind like a Charger R/T. It's THAT bad ass. This tune unlocks a TON of locked off potential from our 3.5L V6 that Toyota's factory tuning just didn't allow for - let alone the well known, infamous shifting issues of the 3rd generation Tacoma's.

Another really cool feature is that it turns the ECT Power switch into basically a sport mode switch. When engaged it cranks up the throttle response a tad more and makes the transmission favor acceleration over conservative, daily driving. It's seriously fun as hell!

We can offer this tune for all 3rd gen Tacoma's*** in the Middle-TN area for $250 +$15 for each hour I travel outside of my home address in Lawrence County, TN. PM me if you're in the Middle-TN area and are interested and/or have questions. I'll happily get back with you and provide a breakdown of steps to get the flash.

***We canNOT offer tuning for 2021 models equipped with a MT at this time. Sorry.

So today I drove 2.5 hours to meet Matt after being recommended to him by PapaRee. Here’s my highlights from the day; it was a very varied drive through some extremely small town at 30mph that quickly escalated into 65moh zones just to go down to 55mph, 45 mph, and then 30 mph zones literally within half a mile. The quickest route to him took us through the worst speed trap zone in the state and it’s HIGHLY frustrating to drive. I’ve done it a few times for other reasons in other vehicles. It was substantially worse in a Tacoma. Lots of varying elevation along with the stress of an outrageously underpowered vehicle. Cliff notes; miserable as shit driving up and the reason I had a city truck prior and took the wife’s car anywhere else outside of the city. On the way back; HOLD ON NOW. We now have a vehicle that can drive effortlessly and compares to my previous vehicles as far as just motoring down the road (392 Widebody Challenger, multiple 5.0 Mustangs, etc). It’s no race truck by any means, but it certainly feels like it has the advertised horsepower now. It actually accelerated with traffic. It didn’t shift in and out of 5th on a slight incline like a skipping CD from 20 years ago. It’s easily the best $250 I’ve spent in quite some time. It took a truck that has amazing resale, crazy reliability, and some extreme high points BUT DROVE LIKE SHIT, to all of the above but now drives wonderfully. Can’t recommend it enough. Thanks Matt, and sorry I couldn’t hang out longer. We were paying for a sitter for our 3 kids by the hour so had to skate back. Next time drinks on me my friend!

I live in the Memphis area and met Matthew out in Savannah, TN to get the OV Tune for my 2019 and guys i gotta say The difference it made is amazing! I have a 3” lift with 33” tires and on the way there i was getting 15mpg’s and after i got the tune on the way home I averaged 19 mpg’s im so glad i got it. It drives so smooth and theres no more gear hunting with cruise control on the highway. Matt is a super nice guy and had an answer for all my question thanks again bro!

Anyone considering this tune should absolutely go for it, I got mine done this past Saturday. The process was incredibly fast and simple. Man does my truck feel different now, the throttle response is incredible. The gear hunting has basically been eliminated, and the truck just all around feels zippier. I couldn’t be happier
