I really botched that!! Bofy cavity? Really?

 

Just got home a few minutes ago... long day. The interview was in Van Nuys, about 3.5-4 hours from the house.
The interview went well. I gave comprehensive answers to all of their questions but one. So they flogged me on it (Progressive Discipline) and got the info they needed to hear out of me. They wrote down my answer so I got credit for it. That's what counts.

Now I wait... Should hear something (hopefully a job offer) in 7-10ish days.
The other candidates would likey need a very strong interview (or bribe ) to win out. I have been doing most of the duties of this job for almost a decade, but I can't count my chickens because I have seen these things go completely sideways before.

That's where we at!

 

Unfortunately, I did not receive the coveted "bofy cavity search."
Hopefully next time...

No, the position is my retiring boss's job just down the hallway. Our headquarters (for Fleet) are split between Van Nuys and downtown L.A. Our operations cover a very large geographic area.

 

Good luck man. I always side with those looking to better themselves.

I agree, self improvement is a noble pursuit! Based on my location, employment opportunities are few and far between. That and I only have 5-6 years before retirement so I figure I gotta jump on this.
