Talk me out of getting a Ranger!

rent one for a few days, been doing that lately before purchase to get a real test drive.

 

But somebody [link] is going to...

The ranger is a nice truck I drove one before I got my 2nd taco. But I did not like the turbo for longevity.. also the taco is a nicer looking truck out of all the midsize trucks on the market.

No I bought a 2021 4Runner.

 

Why did you not get a Ranger? Did you check it out? Just curious what you thought of it.

 

I test drove it the night before. Surprisingly good speakers and zip. The Tacoma felt better on speed bumps and curb hopping. (Best I could do simulating outdoors in a city test drive) I think having multiple electrical problems with my 07 Mustangs battery, alternator, and windshield wiper motor and my tendency to keep vehicles longer than 10 years made me give Toyota a shot this go around. If I traded in my vehicles constantly like some people do I might go with Ford but the entire midsize truck market is overpriced IMO.

Agreed, but would have left off the "midsize" qualifier. Only thing worse is the SUV market.
