Ha yeah I agree. They are kinda noisy. I'd argue there more of a Mud-AT tire than a traditional AT.

I think I promised this a while back... But here is treadwear. I'm at 54k miles.

.225" if you cant read the calipers. Not too shabby!

Hoping I can make it to October with this set... We'll see with how many miles I drive.

    That is good to see
I am racking up 25 k a year and have 11 k on my AT2s in SL. Not a dedicated off-roader, more like, there are times when I need to drive in sand, mud and dirt and rock roads for work. Plus these were such a great value for the longevity and utility they provide.47184A45-24B6-44B1-AB86-08A446492B06.jpg

This is after 30k miles with 5k rotations. So far has been a great tire. Highly recommend.

I can tell you those tires work extremely well in deep snow also. Best all around tire i ever had.

I was aiming for Toyo AT3's but the ones I ordered were manufactured in Japan, which means they had a generic looking, soft sidewall (the US made Toyo's have deep grooves that look aggressive). I came to TacomaWorld to research other tire options and after reading ya'lls thoughts and seeing your pics for General Grabber ATX tires, I got them instead. Thanks for the posts and pics. Very happy with my Generals. They look and ride great!

Discount tire will show the weights. Depends on the ply or rating but I'd look up the size and brands you're interested in on Discount Tire and compare weights.
I picked Generals because they were significantly lighter than Falkens.

Anyone have balancing issues with these after use? My load E tires have 40k, no chopping and well rotated, but balance issues. Little shake in the steering wheel so I had them rebalanced, but the shop wasn't able to remedy.

Love mine, I got the AT2 not the ATX. They are pretty sticky in the snow/ice and very quiet at highway speeds, plus stable at over 100 (shhh!) I replaced the factory tires right when I bought the truck, so in other news, i have a set of brand new factory tires in the garage for sale...lol

Got a set of ATX installed in 265/75R16 E load on stock OR wheels. Quieter than my couple year old Cooper Discoverer AT3 on my Trooper. Took them out for a quick spin in the mountains, pretty pleased so far but they did retain a lot of gravel. Was spitting stones out the whole 70 mi highway drive home.

My KO2s retain a lot of gravel too.

These areas are in front of my rear wheels, thats not dirt or anything, all rock chips.

I’m a KO2s fan but thinking of trying the ATX next. I like how it has more siping and deeper thread.
