What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Replaced the brake soft lines with some braided steel ones. Didn't lose too much fluid on the install and bleeding was a breeze with the wifey helping in the driver's seat.

Pedal is nice and firm now.

 

Cap side scene lights and rear bumper lights all wired etc.

All lights on....I think I'll need to move my ditch lights out slightly.

 

Finally installed my Renogy battery monitor in my rear seat delete storage platform that I have been working on in my spare time during this whole covid thing. It monitors my secondary that powers almost everything aftermarket that's been added to the truck.
Neat little unit and should be even more useful once I get solar installed.

 

Did you replace the relay with the new part number?

 

What did you use for scene lights?

 

Don't know the P/N off the top of my head but I believe it was whatever P/N people recommended off TW who had similar issues.

 

my 4x4 paint was fading so I removed the mud flaps and gave everything a good wash. Removed the paint and left them black.
Also taped off the area and shot the last two feet of the exhaust a satin black, Rustoleum BBQ paint.

Do it! It’s super easy, taping and cutting the paper sheet together was the longest part lol. It prints off in 12 sheets unless you have access to a plotter
