Haha I knew what you meant just thought it was a funny one.

does bug spray really help you with ticks?? I feel like they get on me no matter what. I can avoid every limb, plant, grass, etc but somehow a tick will still get me lol.

Oh heck yeah. I spray the piss out of my boots and below my knees. With that, I only find one or two a year crawling on me at the most. And I'm in the woods of Rhode Island (large tick problems here) nearly daily all season long either bike or walking one way or another.

It's the DEET, I think, you need to find a can that says it repels ticks - if it doesn't say it repels ticks, it's probably better for you and the environment, but is less effective. That's why I say -- spray your clothes, not your skin :)

I see it as a win. But seriously this stuff works, I use it during hunting season or I get covered in chiggers and seed ticks.

Good to know, thanks. Ticks are really my only worry around here so anything that helps that I’m willing to try.

I once got 167 chigger bites, so I use the same stuff since then. It does work well but I would agree to avoid skin contact haha

Yep, they have gotten me a few times like that. Worst part is that I am a hard sleeper so I wake up with blood under my fingernails for about two weeks after.

I'm a big fan of the warbird. It may be bias since it is my first carbon bike but it is amazing. I imagine I would be more even more impressed with a road racing bike haha.

Sad? It's just about revenue generated.

Nobody wants to watch me ride either, should I cry "UNFAIR"?
