I searched for it before posting...baffled that it didn't exist already.

I had some Chimay in my spaghetti last night...I'd swear that Chimay is the best hot sauce for blending..great in soups, condiments, spaghetti sauces... delicious.

It's OK. But bringing it to this thread is like entering Bud Light in a craft beer tasting. It's an Acid Kuba Kuba. Siracha is just...hot sauce. Generally agreeable, therefore nothing extraordinary. ...

But hey, feel free to keep enjoying. My advice would be to start graduating to some other sauces posted here. You'll be glad you did.

I'm also a fan of the fat cat sauces. The Chairman Meow's Revenge is my next favorite there. Then I enjoy the Bravado Spice Black Garlic.

I also like most of the sauces made by the Heatonist (Hot ones). Their traditional and their green are amazing.

What are you using the black garlic on? I haven't cared for it at all (understatement) but I'm always open to trying sauces on different dishes to see which compliment it best.

I just bought some more Queens Majesty from the Heatonist site. I bought the green (lime and Jalapeno) the red (Red Habanero and coffee) and more yellow (Scotch Bonnet and ginger). I haven't tried the red or green yet, but if it's anything like the yellow, it won't disappoint.

I love to use siracha 50/50 with bbq sauce when I bbq chicken. I might even add a little ghost pepper sauce but then the wife gets pissed cuz its too hot for her. She's done a remarkable job in the last 20 years getting used to hot sauce and can normally do a medium heat these days.

not about the "can you handle the heat challenge " level of sauces. like you said no flavor.

although.. I was checking out a local hot sauce shop and there was a group of teens in there trying out "The End: Flatline" hot sauce.

after trying it they where in tears and trying to guzzle there water, and completely failed in trying to act tough for there girlfriends. the group watch us try a few different sauces when One of the girlfriends, said to me, why don't you try the sauce there boyfriends tried.

Ok, not much of a super hot sauce fan, but.. I took the challenge.

the clerk goes over the waiver, and pours a drop of the thick sauce on a tiny little spoon, the group confirms it was about the same size they had. took a deep breath and struck the spoon in upside down putting the all of the sauce on my tongue, and licked it clean.

at first, was really mild compare to what would hit a few minutes later. intense heat followed, and my eyes started watering and I am sure my face turned red. Kinda waiting there, pretty unfazed compared to the teens. when they said just wait it gets hotter. I kinda smiled and told them " I think you boys just can't handle your hot sauce" by that time the intense heat had hit, and In could feel it in my stomach, not sure if the empty stomach was a good or bad idea at that point. I most assuredly was not in the mood to eat anything the rest of the night.

Steve-O's hot sauce is pretty good. A bit on the mild side but good flavor.

Plant some different peppers in your garden and make your own fermented hot sauces. Pretty damn fun to play around with different additions and it's addictive once you're into it.

Google it, really easy to make your own.

David Tran (started Huy Fong foods) is vietnamese but you are right that it is originially thai. Half my family is chinese and we put it on everything. I probably should have said "asian ketchup". Hell, my dad has "travel sriracha" that lives in his car and he brings it in to restaurants with him.....
