Yeah that damn thing aint cheap lol. Maybe they'll have one laying around for that reason. But the wrecking yards are asking an arm and a leg, even for the older 2nd gen R155F. Hopefully it'll be worth the extra money for a new one.. Haha hopefully they send me a new one. I am not entirely sure what can of worms i may have opened

A couple of years ago my buddy ordered a brand new JDM 13b long block from Japan. He basically said the same thing....lord knows what I'll get!

That's really cool, i've never seen a rotary engine, those things look tiny compared to a normal motor. Looks like he has got lots of time in that project!! Wild to see the intercooler mounted like that too

Well that didn't take long, got an email this morning from them cancelling the order. They say it's too big to ship.. so maybe it's not a supply thing then. I may check with a dealer near me and see what they say

Nothing new here to speak off, I see you’re taking on another major mod can’t wait to see the outcome.

Got the R156F on order, gonna go pick it up in a couple of weeks. Gonna work on the input shaft swap tomorrow for the FJ t-case from the M/T input shaft back to the auto input shaft. Working on hunting down a shifter now

Did some work on the 4wd conversion today with the FJ t-case. Got the coupler off of the auto t-case input shaft so now it should bolt
    up to a 4wd trans.

Then moved on to splitting the case to swap the auto trans input shaft back in since it has one for my 6spd currently.

Swapped inputs and ring gear, and cleaned up everything. Also replaced the input shaft seal since i messed that up the last time i tore this apart to swap inputs.

Sealed up and ready for it’s partner in crime

    Good mornin John!

Good mornin Brian! Yeah the FJ swaps are becoming pretty popular these days. Speaking of that, did your case have a breather on the case and on the shifter? In the last pic above you can see a capped port on the case and then theres one near the shifter too. The breather is one of the last things i have to get figured out

My Tcase and trans has 2 breathers right next to each other so it connects them and shares one hose.
