Spyderco Native 5 Lightweight. It is, in fact, very light.

I drive past it every time I go to Windrock Park. I need to stop sometime. BladeHQ has an EC dist center and they are going to be opening a store front here too in VA. Knife Center is in VA.

Little different and nowhere near as nice as some of the other knives I've seen here but Uncle Sam's Misguided Children had to show up. She's about 1/4 inch thick.

Knifejoy Exclusive accepts sezzle pay later plan lol things to expect out of it.. is the blade profile is quite thin behind the edge. I wouldn't suggest it as a knife to beat on. Lc200n steel edge retention is ok. Will need touch ups here and there. Plus side it's NASA grade steel and highly corrosion resistance. The chef is a great light multi-task user and of course around the kitchen. My favorite isthat it's easy to disassemble to clean and centers nicely. I guess a downer might be that my buddy just actually broke his wire clip the other day. I hope this was helpful. Lol the end

thanks for this. Answered a bunch of questions I had twirling around my head. I love the knifejoy exclusive blue color. That’s the one I want but will forgoe the payment plan lol, that’s a sliiiipery slope. My main use would be a pocket knife while camping to use for all food cutting. I always carry around a fixed blade for the beater duty while camping so this seems like a perfect companion.

Another would be it's more of a casual thumb hole flip for me. It's not like other spydies where you can spydie flick easily. It's possible, but I normally don't spydie flick my spyderco's anyways. Some have report a bit of lockstick out of the box as well. I haven't had any issues with lockstick. It's definitely a great slicer. I know this is one knife that I'd never get ride of. I've own 4 (down to 2 now) and gave two of my buddies each one to try and ended up keeping them. They love them too.

I'm not sure about where the new blade HQ is. The guy I was on the phone with didn't answer me when I asked.

Scroll to the bottom knife center is in Fredericksburg not sure if they have an actual store front call and see

Well, I can't blame this poor decision on alcohol (though I wish it was something other then plain stupidity) I was outta town and couldn't sleep. My eyes were blurry since I'm loosing my nearsightedness and my glasses make it worse, so I was squinting to the extreme and clicked the "BUY IT NOW". Dumba$$ that I am, didn't read up on what this is, and forgot all about it till the mailman delivered this afternoon...tried to get some better pics of the (4 small chips) TAIWAN blade (also noticed maybe uncooked food there too) and also beat scales that seen better days (well what do you know...food there too)

I know there is many Spyderco Fans on here, so any advice? I probably can return it, though might hurt my rep...sadly I still kinda like it so part of me needs to save it.

It's still quite a decent knife. 440c is better than 8cr and better egde retention than aus8.

If you really want to part with it. Would probably be a cool knife for a childs first knife. Son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter?

I'd take it apart clean it up good and resharpen the blade and use it. Still looks to be in pretty decent shape.
