Passed 100K miles yesterday

No argument from me!!!!! My FJ60 is blue, and I love the colour

 

We sure did. It was a fun experience. I'm guessing the passport program is really for younger folks, but these 50 year old kids really enjoyed it.

 

I've never been able to keep miles off a vehicle. Between commuting and loving a road trip I always rack up the miles. I buy them to drive and enjoy so no complaints.

 

That's some serious mileage in a couple of years. NC has some great places. Although, I can usually find something nice in just about every state.

Time for the break-in oil change!

I just hit 5k. The fun-est were the 450mi getting it home from the dealer, and 1,700 miles on a recent trip that took us a bit into Mexico's wine country. A bit more than 50% have been play miles so far. Not bad!

 

Absolutely...very few of my miles if any are going to NC, or anywhere to sight see...we usually take my wife's high top conversion van - or another vehicle for those trips - my wife is not a fan of the truck ride. However as you referenced lots of pretty places everywhere and we are blessed to live in a beautiful area of TN (we own a beautiful small horse farm on a river). We take very few trips anywhere away from our place...at least I don't, my wife will go places...I'm not interested.

My miles are business related - going to my office mainly - which is a 120 mile roundtrip commute from my home and I go 7 days a week.

I'm in the same boat . I say why love something and not enjoy it. I'm blown away by how many guys on here freak out about so many miles on these tacomas . Oh yeah that's right because they never owned a toyota before . We are a toyota family always will be.

 

We have pretty much settled on Toyota, Subaru or Honda for our family vehicles. We've been burned by owning other brands enough to avoid them.

 

Hey that’s awesome- I’d like to do more of that myself. I’m very lucky that I have a Ford Fusion I use for back and forth to work, so I really only drive the Tacoma randomly in the evening, or on the weekend. Less so during this whole pandemic. I also don’t take it on roadtrips but that’s because of the kids and dog with our luggage.
