I am not for sure positive, but I believe usually at these demo tours you are dealing directly with the people working for the manufacture that a part of the tour
he recently did a 500 as well

Looking at picking up a plated 2006 CRF450x. Looks in nice condition and has hand guards/skid plate/new wheels/baja designs street kit. They are asking $5200. Is it worth it? I had a 2006 CRF250x before plated(but sold with no baja kit). I let it go back in 2008 for 4500. Seems like these are all still going for around that.

God that thing is beautiful. The idling sound alone dislocates my shoulders. I like how he throws a boot on to kick it over.

My problem is more of a "first world' issue" in that I own 3 motorcycles. My FJR1300 gets the most use and likely always will at this point. Last year I was just shy of 8k miles and that's my lowest in ages. 2018 was just under 25k and 3 pairs of tires that year. The Buell and my Honda CB400F are mostly now just putt around and go to some shows.

Took the wife's grom for the inspection and the tech asked when I got it, one year ago, with such low miles needing an inspection. Then explained it was the bike my was learning the street with and he understood then. 600 miles at inspection. Since I sold the CBR I have road it more to the stores and such than she has I think haha

Finally bit the bullet and bought a bike, 2017 250L Rally. I'll be picking it up on Friday.

Nothing against the Grom or anyone that has one(considered one myself) but I think some fanboys have moved into my building. I've never heard someone rev their bike as much as these guys without going anywhere. Lol

lol, 100% true that the whole rev bombing thing is now synonymous with the grom scene...

that being said I still want one just because I love everything honda mini...

congrats on the rally, those honda 250s are great and the rally edition is a great looking machine!

You mean to tell me that you don’t enjoy the fuery of almost 10hp!?
the more I think about the more I don’t want a exhaust. Gotta be a ninja when I am riding on sidewalks and speeding through parking lots.

There's always a rotten bunch in any scene. Thanks, I can't wait to start riding it. And I'm sure my cousin will be happy I don't have to keep riding his wr250r.

lol. It'd be one thing if they rev'd them and then took off but when they're just sitting there for over 10 minutes. :der: Agreed, not exactly the bike I'd be adding an exhaust to. I've only considered an exhaust on the Rally I'm getting is to lose around 10lbs off the bike. But to each their own.

Need to get suspension first. Stock suspension is absolutely terrible.

lmao. These goobers are not any peeps I'd be hanging out with (even disregarding the rev bombs).

I'd take groms over the gang of questionable adults that rip around on 50s in my neighborhood. They'll cut you off while merging onto a 45mph and not even lose the ash off their cigarette.

i never revved my Z125.. I just loved to lock the rear tire at any speed. It was literally like being a little kid on a bicycle. Jumping speed bumps and skidding around. Got yelled at one time because I locked the rear tire coming up to a light. But I didnt care, never stopped me. I would get one again in a heartbeat. Tires were $30. Everything was cheap. (aw great, here I go convincing myself again)
