been in a cooking funk these last couple weeks...just can't find the motivation to get too crazy in the kitchen. had take out a couple nights, made pasta for dinner more than I should have and settled for a sammich one night because that was about all the effort I could muster.
then I was shopping the other day and saw the Barilla GF lasagna noodles on the shelf :hungry: my mouth was watering immediately. so homemade lasagna is on the menu tonight. hope this will be the end of the funk for a while.

I've used the gf Barilla lasagna noodles before. They have a nice consistency and taste fine.

I used to use the Tinkyada rice lasagna noodles that you have to boil first but they always stuck together or fell apart into little bits while I was trying to stack everything. Found the Barilla Oven Ready noodles late in 2019 and haven't gone back since! Love them, so much easier. And I can still use my same, old sauce recipe if I just add about 1/2 cup water!

I edited the original with a tip for the milk measurement in case any didn't know- 1/8 cup is the same as 2 Tablespoons

Thought I’d give these a try. Girl Scout cookies go on sale tomorrow @ 6:45pm. Not like it affects me any. :angrygirl:

The Girl Scout GF caramel cookies aren't bad. They remind me of Famous Amos cookies. I think I still have a bag hiding in the cupboard that my fiance can't reach next to the double stuf oreos. I'm saving them for an angry day :)

those have been a staple of mine for years

better than girl scouts and a complete knockoff. they used to be called "mint slims" but they had to change the name

i love their oatmeal bars...all of them really. my favorites are the orange cranberry and the apple cinnamon but they're a little harder to find for some reason
