Greetings!

I have a silver 2019 Tacoma SR5 access cab V6 4x4 and love it, right at 19K miles now It replaced an inferior 2018 pickup (of another make) which had been in for warranty service 8 times in the 15 months I owned it: time to get real and get a Tacoma! Only one warranty issue so far (fuel pump recall).

Besides the Tacoma, I've also owned 2 Landcruisers, a 4Runner, another 2nd generation Tacoma, as well as an Expedition and an F-150. And a 2018 Ram 1500 The 1999 Landcruiser was the most off-road capable of these, but I've bonded with this Tacoma the most! So far I've had it in significant snow and on rough mountain/snow roads and it's handled quite capably.

Freeway driving I routinely get 25+ MPG, and I've gotten as high as 27. Around 19-20 in town. I use mid-grade gas and only use the transmission power button when towing our boat. I've settled on changing the oil/filter every 5K miles, with dealer synthetic.

My look of choice is "aggressive stock", with blackout badging, bumpers, front grille, Diamondback smooth HD tonneau, and factory black rims. I've also added a tailgate step and Marathon seat covers (I'd suggest Katskin leather instead FWIW). No plans for lifting nor offroad modification.

I really appreciate the volume and quality of the information available on this forum. I'm currently researching in the trailering section in preparation for a trailer vacation this fall, pulling a 4,000# (dry wt.) Dutchmen travel trailer.
