    I like this little idea,

i've been using the Blue Sea's "terminal" fuses, granted they only go up to 300A.

    https://www.bluesea.com/products/category/0/42//Marine Rated Battery Fuses

the cube fuses themselves are expensive as sin but they are a standard fuse in the UK/EU. so it's worth order 5 or 6 from over them than getting the "Bluesea" branded one.

I'll look into the Littlefuse you posted, but right off the bad it's a 32V fuse and not a 12V like our batteries output. could we still use them?

Ok maybe there is something like a guard for driveshafts. I was thinking about this last year.

I don't know much about them at all to be honest. I know they are pretty well rated and they are in my Amazon wishlist, in case I happen to break one off.

They are ~$120 a set on amazon. https://www.amazon.ca/TufSkinz-Compatible-2016-up-Toyota-Tacoma/dp/B083MZC9G1/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=tufskinz+tacoma&qid=1620263388&sr=8-1&th=1

Oh I was adding 20$ shipping on both the front and back set, my bad

    $100 makes sense.

    Rocks on dirt roads...

I've debated even buying some cheap side steps to stop them from hitting the bottom of my door. I have a few rocks chips there already.

(no i wont buy them cause they are useless and ugly otherwise)

Any of you folks heard of these guys/used their stuff? Made right here, decent prices too compared to others. Been following them for a few weeks hoping to see more info/others tagging their kinetic energy ropes.

Trying to round out a decent recovery kit for myself this year

32V is the max voltage rating, meaning the fuse will work with any voltage below that.

Looks like they make only two sizes? 1/2" is too small, and 1" is too stiff to have any appreciable stretch with our trucks. Ideally we should be using 3/4" or as a compromise 7/8".

Ah this makes sense, especially after browsing sites like Yankum and Bubba's. I guess I'll keep an eye on em the see if they release anything else, or send em a few questions.
