I do not have an exact part# currently. I know it is for I think a c7 corvette? C8 maybe? Not sure but wither way it comes with the spal brushless fan & the fan shroud which is just barely too small to fit on our radiator perfectly.

I was just about to tag you.

Isn't there also a Lingenfelter controller? I think @12TRDTacoma has that perhaps?

Yep, thats what I am running too but I botched the name lol. It works good for temp operation only, no ac settings/inputs.

What he said. ^^ Its a solid reliable unit, but it has its shortcomings which Murph has pointed out.

large radiators are pointless without air flow. smaller rad with more air will cool better then a large rad with less air flow. also look into out system its a fan that can ramp up as temps start to climb to assist with more air flow when you need it. the stock fan setup is what ever rpm you have is what you get.

I found one, how ever it has to be mounted inside the cabin as it is not safe for engine bay climate (water/heat)

This is why the AC kinda sucks in traffic.

I just upgraded my controller from the autocoolguy no buzz 100(which buzzed with my spal fans) to a high frequency 125 amp model. I’m stoked. It’s meant for brushless fans and it completely fixed my fan vibrations. Super silent now. This is the only controller that I know of that does what everyone wants. Adjustable AC fan speed, switch input for fan speed over ride, PWM. I don’t think it’s the most elegant solution out there, but it’s certainly one of the most adaptable.

AFE is in. The fan shroud could fit better, though I don’t know if it is as bad as the CSF. The top shroud was able to fit back in place, with a little trimming across the top of the fan shroud, it could be perfect.

Ended up with the gaps between the fan shroud and the radiator like everyone else with the Tacoma model. Didn't feel like removing it to add gasket, so I just loosen the shroud and ran some rubber hoses on both sides, tighten down at top and bottom, all good now. Hopefully the hoses can handle the heat.

Do you guys add tranny fluid after after swapping the radiator? I noticed quite a bit of fluid was dripping out after I pulled out those two small hoses. Just dont feel like removing the skid plates to get to the tranny fill bolt right now.

Being that the new reservoir is larger, and if you lose some in the swap, it doesn't hurt.

On my AFE radiator I am shaving the top and bottom inside lips of the shroud for better fitment, and elongate the mounting tab bolt holes. I still have a gap on each side. I should have bought some rubber weatherstrip just in case, but don’t need to drive this truck, so I will wait until some arrives Friday to put it back together.

Good call waiting. I drove with mine not fully sealed and almost roasted the trans. Hit trans warning on a trip hitting a hill. All bad. Added some HVAC tape to seal it for now. will redo it with a gasket/rubber.
