    I was one of the unlucky ones and cannot get my T40 bolt to budge. I tried everything from completely removing my tailgate off (the first thing I did), sprayed WD40, used a punch, 3/8" breaker bar, (stripped at this point), used a heat gun, chiseling it to use a larger flat head, drilled through the bolt to use an extractor, that broke and now that piece it stuck inside. I can't even drill that out, it's stuck...

    So, I'll sell mine if anybody's interested and can get theirs out. I don't have enough posts to create a FS listing. My actual device is ^ the last post. 3rd gen, powder coated black, with the t45 security bolt, new and unused. PM for details

    Sorry in advance if this is violates TW's rules/guidelines, in that case please delete...

    Well mine served its purpose already. two tweakers walked by our neighborhood the other night taking things from peoples porches but left empty handed at my house. Video showed them trying to unlock the tailgate by the handle but quickly gave up and moved on when my home alarm went off.

    Sorry for your luck, if you take the plastic cover off the inner side of your tailgate you will be able to punch the broken extractor out.

    don’t give up, I was in same situation. What worked for me is a combination of drilling out bolt and using a stripped bolt extractor tool. after several attempts bolt came out

    I do not have army green, if you order I will get some army green powder, it takes about a week and a half to get it though.

    I had the same issue and took same approach. Finally it came out, but I have not been able to get my extractor back. That bolt is stuck on there for good.

    I will do them any color, if I dont have that particular color, it takes about 10 working days to get it, once the powder arrives your package will go out the next day
