Heading up to C4 fab to pick up a bumper, and looking for a Thursday night camp spot south of Black Hawk SD. Never been up that way, any recommendations?

Rapid is directly south of Black Hawk. How close to C4 are you looking to keep to? I'd say head to the Southern hills if you are willing to get ~1hr away from town. Wrinkle Rock, Horsethief Lake area.

Further south of town the better as I'll be heading out 5pm Thursday night and don't need to pick up at C4 until noon Friday.

Are you truck camping or looking to throw a tent at a designated camp ground?

Back of the truck, side of a dirt road is perfect for me. Further away from camp grounds the better. I'm lifted on 33's.

Throw your bike in with you and go ride Storm Mountain:
    https://goo.gl/maps/KvbFpnFrumjiNuHM7

Another option north of Black Hawk if you go that route. You can camp off Old Stone without anyone bothering you:
    https://goo.gl/maps/mxgjJzzYcob3QjsA8
Follow the single track under I-90 / parallel Alkali Creek.

Once you're done at C4, you hit M Hill in Rapid for a casual ride down to Lost Cabin brewing if you stick around for a day or two.

Keep me in the loop also. I've never seen Holly Cross in person, kind of a bucket list trek.

I’m need of a tug to get out of the ditch. Currently on the north brush creek trail in the medicine bow NF. I have straps and shackles but need another vehicle to pull me out of the ditch. The truck is located at 41.41276, -106.47124 , we are camped about 4 miles closer to Ryan Park. Please text my friend with better service 720-480-9711

    Thanks!

My day is packed tomorrow. If they still need help in the evening I'll see if I can head that way. Still a pretty big haul even for us over here.

Maybe they slid off the road where all the bears are?

That last storm busted a major branch of the tree in my back yard. Luckily it didn't sheer off, so I put a kick stand under it temporarily. Paid off because that branch still bloomed with the rest of the tree.
