Ha! It had actually blown all the spares I had. Can't remember now how many, but it was several on that trip.

 

i don't think he had any. Was the first trip ever I think with it and didn't really know wth happened. not till later did he try other fuse I think?

I cut mine out of the ARB harness, as the ARB goes through the relay on the Bussmann, and that uses the mini-blade fuses, so I have tons of those (though I've yet to blow one for the compressor). But I'll start carrying them for everyone else, hahahaha.

Except Monte and his damn CO2.

Plenty of options for butyl and closed cell foam. Never saw the RAAM stuff but assume it's very similar. I've used the Noico stuff on both my trucks with good success.

I did spring for the Second Skin MLV with built it foam just for the floor of the 2nd stuff. That stuff is thick and hard to work with, but I have like no noise through the floor. Now if I could figure out how to quiet down the back window.

 

Well the light is on in the photo so low beam should be working.

Only way to check the projector is to take the head light apart.

I like the look of the mlv with foam. It's just pricey as hell.

Same issue for me. I'm going to do the single cab first. But the back window will be loud as hell regardless.

Yeah, I think I spent $250 just to do the floor. It's also so heavy and hard to work with I don't think you would want to use it anywhere other than the floor.

Seems reasonable to me I guess, he must've seen shafts that needed replacing. Should be about right is one or two shafts need replacing. I'm used to rebuilds being $150 per shock for 2.5s and $100 for 2.0

 

If it is to rebuild (new seals and oil only) for all 4 pieces, $600 is a little high but not unreasonable. I have paid $250 + shipping for a pair of COs with Tim @TMFF

 

Shafts are fine.

He did say something about the gas and oil being mixed, and that being an icon thing, adding more time/ labor.

So you all would just go with it? I feel like I can trust the dude, seems to know his stuff, going off of what he’s got going on in his garage.
