Meh. Why even bother?

 

I love the stuff.

I understand if someone hates it for whatever reason. Chinese people have a soup where the main ingredient is cilantro (pronounced YEEN SAI - in Cantonese). taste like a bowl of life extension.

 

Cilantro is one of the nastiest tasting things on earth. I grew up in Singapore and it's on everything. Couldn't figure out why food tasted so bad as a kid until I got food without cilantro......

You got me. I go with diced green onions instead of white, sweet, or red.

And they go with olive oil with garlic on toast. Spanish style.

 

A little bit is okay on some things.

Today - local super fresh corn tortillas, local organic beef for carne asada (flank) grilled, local queso fresco, fresh avocado, wife made pico de gallo, and our style home made crema (make a bit like yogurt with whole milk and half n half, yogurt starter in the Instant pot, but only 6-7 hours), lime -damn BOMB tacos:

 

Looks like you have cilantro on there or is that something else?

 

Good eye, there are about three leaves per taco delivered via my wife's salsa, which does not set my taste bud alarms off, but also there are several chunks of jalapeno, serrano and of course avocado.
