    Yeah we already talked, I'm just looking for a used, dirt cheap set without springs for seeing how a under the bed 3 link would work on a long bed truck. Probably never going to find one until shock companies catch up, since it appears used shocks are worth just as much as new ones nowadays.

    Cant you just look up extended and collapsed measurements then? Maybe use some pvc that slips in and out for that?

    You can get a cage for cheaper but I don’t think it would be easy to get one that already has all the geometry set up for the DMZ or any other SUA built in and bolts in to the bed like that with only taking up a small amount of bed space. Tim would charge a lot more for a custom cage because he’s super talented but he has a jig where he can make those and they already come out ready to go for the DMZ SUA. Realistically you’re only looking at $200-300 worth of material so you could make one for cheaper or have a fab shop make one but there will be a price vs. quality differential all the way up through the price range you pay depending on the skills of whoever makes the cage.

    My buddy has that Dmz bed cage (and LT kit) in his truck, fit like a champ, so easy to install and just be done with it. Works great! He passes folks on the dirt roads while pulling his camp trailer, haha! Like @Dalandser said, shoot the owner a offer.
