scs is about two promises away from becoming marlin.

 

I don’t know about Marlin, but if I had a product in high demand and customers are waiting, I’m gonna try my best to fulfill orders and make my money and deliver awesome customer service.

Whatever strategy this company is doing with low supply, and driving demand must be what they are striving for.

I am sure that if they could supply all of use rims they would. But supply chains are f’ed up right now. I know my industry I can’t even get equipment and materials to complete projects and sell to clients! Or they are grossly over priced if you can.

 

understood, but this has been the business model here, pre-covid. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’ve had two sets and won’t be waiting on another “drop”.

 

Do a group buy, at full retail. Get the money, then deliver in less than 8 weeks. Seems like a pretty straight forward way to make a lot of people happy and make a lot of money. It's not covid, SCS was like this pre covid.

 

I got 5 blue ray 10’s! Checked out in 23 seconds checked again after, everything was out of stock

 

I’ve been waiting months for a restock of the stealth 6 so I can have a matching spare. I’m to the point where I’ll sell all of them and go with a company that knows how to keep a stock. I love SCS, but it’s just not worth it anymore when there are so many companies coming out with better wheels

 

Look at Freeman Toyota website. https://parts.freemantoyota.com/c-scs-wheels-19. They have some stealth 6’s, I only saw 20s. I called about their SCS wheels and they said they’re expecting a shipment in a few weeks and to fill out inquire form to get on list.

Notification came to late! Had to go with Fuel D666 17" -12 offset. Maybe next time SCS... Really wanted your f5 or Gen5 but lift with no wheels looked like I missed leg day! SMH to whoever forecasted your sales, expect more requests with this crypto money and another stimulus coming August!!

 

Nah Marlin you order, they take your money, and then you get your stuff a year later (or have a hell of a time getting a refund once your patience wears out).

SCS is smart with not taking pre-orders, people can be annoyed with them but they don't have to deal with upset customers if they haven't taken your money yet. Why deal with backorders when your product sells out instantly?

Their system is pretty darn good on here, you just have to keep an eye on this thread. I was able to buy a set of the exact wheels I wanted first try when they came in stock. They post what they're getting and what time it goes live, it's not exactly rocket science to be online with your CC ready at 6pm to click buy. You can even be proactive and add lugnuts to your cart and fill out billing/shipping info before the drop so you can just click add to cart on the wheels and check out.

 

@SCSPerformance Curious at what runs you did on the Brushed Copper? Not model soecific.
