5.29 being a 4 speed and weighing over 6k pounds loaded is tuff lol. It’s not bad when I manually shift gears which is why I need a tune so it will shift at the rpms I need it to shift at.

SUNNY FRIDAY: Following the fast moving line of windy showers last night, a new surge of cool, dry air has settled into Alabama this morning. Many communities over the northern half of the state are in the cool 40s; look for a high between 68 and 72 degrees today with sunshine in full supply. The average high for Birmingham on May 7 is 80.

The weather stays dry tomorrow… with a partly to mostly sunny sky the high will be in the mid to upper 70s. And, the daytime hours Sunday should remain rain-free. The high Sunday will be close to 80 degrees with a partially sunny sky. A band of showers and storms will likely push into the state Sunday night, however, ahead of a cold front.

NEXT WEEK: That front will become stationary across the Deep South early next week, and the weather looks unsettled with some risk of showers and thunderstorms on a daily basis Monday through Thursday. Timing out the individual rounds of rain is almost impossible to do at this point; rain amounts of 2-3 inches look likely Sunday night through Thursday. For now the overall severe weather threat looks low during the week as instability values won’t be especially high. Dry air returns to the state Friday… See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

RAIN UPDATE: Here are rain totals for the year so far, and the departure from average…

    Mobile 27.09″ (+4.82″)
    Huntsville 25.31″ (+3.94″)
    Muscle Shoals 25.14″ (+4.78″)
    Birmingham 25.10″ (+3.41″)
    Dothan 23.93″ (+4.30″)
    Tuscaloosa 22.61″ (+1.68″)
    Montgomery 19.54″ (+0.12″)
    Anniston 15.29″ (-5.28″)

ON THIS DATE IN 1840: A powerful tornado wrecked many boats at the Natchez Landing in Mississippi then plowed through the city on the bluff. The tornado killed 317 people and injured 109 others. The storm is currently the second deadliest tornado on record.

Thanks so much - Sounds perfect.... The N/A trucks seem to get major improvements in shifting and drivability, throttle response and such.. I'll be able to change for Tire Size and Gear Ratios as well to help the transmission shift at the appropriate time..

While no promises on fuel economy, from my research there is room to see improvements !!

    I'll keep you posted!

    Regards,

    John

Yea not the most powerful motor haha but it get the job done. Its not bad to be honest once you manually shift it but id rather just have a tune so i could skip that haha. Trading the truck has never crossed my mind and never will. Ill most likly have a v8 something in the next year for the camping stuff. so no biggie.

Idk i stopped counting how much ive spent like 10k ago:rofl::rofl::rofl:
