First time with metal pins?

 

Yeah kinda ive had metal pedals on other bikes, but even with pins like this. This bike came with plastic Ones on it and i was slipping everywhere. I got some addias five-seven it it help alot but i still slip. So time for the metal pins.

i want to keep it original. i like the quirks of old cars and i must have one.

i'll fucking prius swap it before i do the LS.

 

its keeping the OG m121

its a 200. so the engine bay is tiny by 230 standards. anything larger than a 4 cylinder would be a lot of cutting

i have all the original paper work, the original invoice, and the original license plate

 

LOL. the cars just sitting in a garage till parts pop up.. it was a 1200 dollar purchase. i'll work on it as i find goodies for it.

it should run and drive within 2 years. but all depends on finding parts. i have no plans on a full resto just yet. but it'll get one eventually. its solid for a car that spent its beginnings in new york.


Taco frame should be complete by the end of july. body work will be done at the shop.. it might be a whole truck by winter. but thats the early goal... plan is to drive it by next spring. so its looking like decade? no. 6 years? yes (dont buy a rollover tundra, it slows you down by 2 years)

 

You have the coolest single cab Tundra I’ve ever seen. That one kid that’s sort of local to me has a solid axle one. But something about an 8 foot bed with a shell.

 

i'm loving this thing. its seriously been great. SAS tundra would be neat. but this thing rides so nice

 

Still can't get over the GVWR, power, and weight vs a 3rd gen Taco.
