Years ago my buddy's wife fried a turkey like that; the next day we went turkey hunting and he brought a gallon ziplock bag completely full......I may or may not have eaten every single piece of it.

 

Actually the Tacoma is the only shiny one that I have, everything else is old and near 200k miles.

 

Our dining room set (laugh) came from a second hand store, actually almost all the furniture in the house was used from various sources.

Followed a random estate sale sign today. I have never used a router before and thought it might be a handy thing to try to learn. The clamps are all 8", the two in the front are US made. $50 for all including a bow saw not in the picture.

Is that a plunge router? Those are handy to have, especially for keyhole cuts.

 

It looks a lot like the one my dad had (that I might have now... not even sure ) but I don't think it's a plunge.

 

I don't think so, I believe a plunge router has springs? The base is threaded to move up and down. As I said, I have never used a router before, it was $35 with the tooling, manual + the extra Router Handbook which is 1/2" thick. Good enough for me to tinker with -- no Bob Vila here

 

I had one here with a similar issue with a Yamaha 90. Cleaned the intake with Yamaha ring free decarbonizer and a new timing belt and it runs like new.

Think i might take a ride to Raleigh to check out this nice lil boat today. Its listed for a 1000 bucks. Just wish i had somewhere to store it . Nice 14 ft jon boat.

 

That is cool they still had the manual. I have an old Craftsman router I bought at an estate sale too, the guy worked for Sears and had every Craftsman woodworking tool you could imagine. I also bought a small belt sander there and burnt it up the second time I used it.

 

This was the third time having them like this, it is the only way to go! I thought about smoking some but I think it would be hard to get done all the way without overcooking some.

Good morning friends! Cole and I snuck off for a quick turkey hunt before work, was hoping to catch one I’ve been seeing come off the roost this morning but he didn’t get the script. Only turkey we saw was our decoy.

 

Thx , looks too good to be true tho. Its got a nice list of extras . I messaged the guy , we'll see what happens.
