Thats good news, unlike the landslide on 1205 near Richland Creek CG that took almost 7 years to clear and stabilize.

It'll be hard to part with, I'm sure. Price is a little high, IMO, but hold out and get what you want for it. Older 4x4 Toyotas that have been taken care of are appreciating like mad right now, especially on the west cost where they are through the roof. GLWS. I don't think you're allowed to leave the forum tho ;)

I did intentionally price it a tad high in anticipation of people low balling. And I'm not going anywhere. I've already started a build thread for the next one but it will be a slow process now that there's a little one.

I think you can get it. Here's what I would do..

    1) Go up on the price to $14,500.
    2) Reboot the CV axle -- it's a low-cost item that will remove any buyer anxiety about having something that needs to be done.
    3) Go get some Original GUNK Engine Bright - Spray the frame and use a soft bristle brush to clean it. Take it to a car wash and pressure wash. When you get home, take some Pledge furniture oil on a rag and wipe off the frame --especially on the inside to put a clean finishing touch on it. You want the frame to look pristine in pictures.
    4) Advertise it on the national Facebook Tacoma groups. It needs exposure outside of AR. There are people outside of AR that are willing to pay big bucks for a nice Tacoma.

It will be a great help to show a frame picture that looks like this. Side note, I turned down a $15,000 offer for my 99 model last year because I just can't replace it for that.

I do plan to add more pictures. Just wanted to 'rip the bandaid off' and get it listed. Probably do need to clean up the chassis some and get pics there but mine won't look as nice as that pic.

You probably aren't too off base with that asking price, I'd guess. I saw an ad on fb for a clean '03 w/ 230k miles with just a level (no armor or extras), and they were asking about $12,500, iirc. A lot of ads that I see in the $4-7k range are the little 2wd 4 banger service trucks. It be a seller's market, for sure.

And honestly, having a box of spares/maintenance materials clearly labeled and organized should speak volumes to the right buyer.

These gates are up in the Ouachitas by Lake Silvia. They look like they were built by the CCC. Does anyone know where the road leads that was blocked off?

Little Rock Rigs and Coffee will be held on the 4th Saturday (5/22) this month. This will allow some members to attend the Big Iron event in MO on the 3rd weekend.

Not me. I threw three car batteries and some welding rods in the truck and headed to the I-40 bridge.

    Yeah.
Eh, I saw the pics, some duct tape and a come-a-long should fix that right up.

I refurbish old swingsets if you've got little ones, give me a shout.

Rigs & Coffee - Saturday, May 22nd. The meeting will start at Gulliermo's on Rodney Parham Rd. at 10 AM.

We have a nice trail mapped out for next Saturday's Rigs and Coffee. The trail is on a solid rock bed so it can be driven rain or shine. It took me 2 hours to run the trail for the first time. I stopped and made pictures of side trails that will be great for exploring during future meets. The trail can be easily run in 1.5 hours without stops. There is an exit around 1/2 way to jump on 132 to shorten the route.

The trail starts just north of Paron and runs through the Ouachitas to Thornburg. I think this will be a great scenic connection route from Paron to Thornburg with lots of smaller more technical trails that loop around within the general area for future meets.

Sorry, no pinstripes on this one.
