I’ve noticed one benefit of the RTT is it keeps my load from flying out and smacking other people.


Probably one of the most annoying things is smacking the underside of a RTT with a shovel/scraping your back trying to load bags of mulch.

Mine sunk a bit (1 AAL) when loaded with mulch. Oddly, I felt bad for making my truck squat over night until I got to unload it. As payback, it squeaks at me anytime I drive over a bump now hah.

 

It's also a nice windscreen. And the RTT provided a little challenge loading the mulch. And I guessi have a built in advantage pulling stuff from the cab end of the bed, long reach.

 

A thing showed up

I don't see that there's a choice.

 

What did it cost without the pallet?

 

It wasnt that bad. Maybe 1200$? About the same price as the pallet.

 

is it +2 to match your track width?

 

The pallet is +2 to match my fenders. The bumper is +4 (atleast its supposed to be) .

 

Fyi, my wife is out of town the 5th/6th of June now so I'm 100% in if that weekend is the plan

 

Cool. I'm dealing with some family drama right now, but I was leaning towards that weekend.

 

Not gonna make it tonight. Between the list of things to do and the forecast, going to pass.

Not sure yet. I may have some maintenance to squeeze in first. Where did you plan on meeting? I'm about a mile east of 81 just off Rt 7.
