Replacing the rack bushings is a pain in the arse job, supposedly you can replace them in the truck but don't bother fighting it, just take the rack out, do your inner tie rods and boots while you're at it like I did.

I considered it but I'd still get a CEL due to the ECU being unable to complete the test and CEL's drive me insane.

Original Dip (black) and a few coats of Dip clear coat. It may look that way from afar but not up close lol. It's close enough though :D

While doing a little rewiring I've been unintentionally scratching the hell out of my recently painted radio panels. I'm over it. I ordered a all black 2.5 one.

    Screenshot_20210507-021639_Google.jpg

I've always felt the 2.5 gen radio panel bezel looked alot cleaner than the 2.0s anyway :D

On another note, anyone know the part number for non clock hazard switch panel?

I still need to do the rears on mine. Should do it when I get the new leaf pack in.

Bought this today at O’Really... of course, I only need probably 8-12 ounces to take above the “Low” line in the reservoir when it’s cold. When it warms up it comes up maybe a quarter more towards the “full” line.

Today I took the gas out of my completely full washer fluid tank...

Never trust the gallon jugs of any kind of fluid that your family leaves around...and always smell / look inside before you pour it anywhere into your truck then drive it for 3 days wondering why it smells like gas fumes up front. Enough time to warp the tank and pop the lid open, I heard gas splashing around the engine bay while driving is optimal...

I really can't believe I didn't notice when pouring it. But for some stupid reason someone decided to fill a nearly new Rain-X summer washer fluid jug with gas - and then put it back by all the other washer fluid jugs.

Man that bottom one is a really cool picture, the coil looks almost like it's glowing or distributing light, almost doesn't look real.

Gave the dirty SOB a hand wash yesterday. I hate how I can now see how rusty my sliders are getting. Im going to have to pull them next spring for a new coat. And I can now see how bad my Trasharoo is fucking up my tailgate. I got some wrap coming to cover that up!
And on my way to work my blower motor stopped working:annoyed: Turned on for some heat and absolutely nothing happened! Gotta dig into that tonight after work.

If the blower works in high but no other setting then it's the blow motor resistor.

If it doesn't work at all check for burnt wiring at the motor plug itself and your blower motor fuse.

You may have to buy the TSB blower motor plug, or go to the junkyard and look for a matching one out of a Honda that uses higher temp plastic and larger gauge wires, that's the route I took.

Thanks man it doesn't do anything at all. Its been rattling for a year or so, so i figured it was a matter of time till it went out. I still gotta check the fuse before anything. And of course it goes out when I'm taking a long weekend starting wed.

Changed the plugs and cleaned the throttle body and MAF. Everything looks good except the one, seemed loose when I took it out. Gaps are around .043 after 31000 miles.

I just checked the fuse for my blower motor and that is fine. I jumped in and started it to make sure the panel wasn't dead ac lights turned on. Gave it one good smack under the glove box and POW blower is running again! smh that's got to be the motor itself right?

That's exactly how mine was when my plug was burning up, just open the passenger door and look up under the dash and look at the wires there should be a white wire that's probably turning brown by now, if you pull the plug and look at the ends of it you can see that the Spade connectors will be discolored from heat as well as the plug may be slightly melted this was the case with mine.

If you search on here for melted blower motor plug you should encounter plenty of posts about it it's a relatively common thing

Unnecessary, you can get a ram ball with the appropriate threaded base and or allen headed bolt through it, it's the same end but a little cleaner looking IMHO.
