It’s crazy what people are paying for them! We got ours as a leftover 2019 brand new off the showroom floor for $2700 OTD which is why I will probably never sell it.

That's a great deal. We get robbed up here in Canada. I just phoned another dealer who has one leftover 2020. They want $4200 OTD. I'm going to have to patiently watch the used market and make sure I don't over pay.

Steel, lumber, chip shortages are driving up costs now. Lack of skilled truck drivers delivering goods. All adds up.

Lumber is crazy right now. I need to build a new dock, but that projects on hold until the supply chain catches up, and the prices come down.

Short lived life though. Lots of health problems associated with it so no one wants to do it.

We have to work on our timing. I did but it was at 5am and I went back to sleep. I have to see what the tailor has in store for me. If it’s done I’m headed down to DC to drop off my uniforms for my Tuesday-Thursday stuff.

Got the front tire swapped. I am more excited about these tires than I was with the knobbies and I was pretty excited about those.

Has anyone tried the new Battlecruise tires from Bridgestone yet. Reviews on heavy bikes looks positive.

Did you do them yourself? I hated doing them, such a small wheel and tire to try to hold and use for leverage

Yeah, it’s not terrible just takes time. Did the front in an hour taking my time. New ones are a lot stiffer than the knobbies. I may or may not have been looking into the harbor freight tire changer this morning.

The spoons take longer but like you there really isn’t a need at this time. Now if I get into track days and need to swap tires every 3-5 track days then yeah it will be worth it.

I dont think you could wear a grom tire out even that fast, lol. I didnt have any noticeable wear on mine. Its just too slow of a bike, ha

I bought my Nomar tire changer last summer around July 4th. They had some promo/sale going on that finally convinced me it would be worth it. With 3 bikes and plenty of friends that ride when i weighed the costs of having someone else do my tires, the travel to and from a shop, the fact that most shops near me won't remount a used tire made me pull the trigger. With Covid and severely limited travel last year it's only been used once but I still feel it's worth having. I have a pair of tires coming soon for my Buell and a pair of Pirelli Angel GTs sitting ready to go on the FJR. Neighbor called and asked if we could mount tires for his HD soon.
