Mother's day is Sunday, in case yawl forgot or haven't heard.

My kids are already planning breakfast in bed. Cole told Sadie lastnight "Sadie, you know how mom likes her slimy eggs, we're gonna need your recipe"

I just ordered her an hour massage gift certificate :goingcrazy:

I'll pass that along, I'm not sure what all he's had done other than a tune up.

Truth. Bob was the host in the same way the young guy is now. Norm is actually a master carpenter.

The Silva Brothers are pretty skilled too.

The crazy thing with Kevin is he started off as a homeowner with, if memory serves, a wallpaper problem on Ask This Old House then became the new host after Steve.

And I have a Silva Brothers shirt.

He actually had his house re-done by This Old House. I think it was in the early thousands.

Wish I could fall in a pile of :poking: and come out smelling like a rose...

All this Bob Vila vs. Norm Abram gave me an idea for a new poll so with that being said, new poll.

Norm is the man but to legit answer the posed question, Kevin is WAY better than the other two.

Honestly, I haven't watched much of it with Kevin as the host. I used to watch it way back when Bob was the host but always found myself enjoying what the other people were doing and it makes sense now that it's been pointed out he had a lot of people behind him who made him look good.

Kevin comes across as a lot more personable than the other two and Steve never looked like he knew how a house even goes together. I really don't remember much about Bob.

Some chicken and rice my wife found in the freezer that I was supposed to eat back in February when she had her surgery. I may go to Mrs. Winner's instead.

I wish it was my idea, but the guy who owned it had to take it to a proper Yamaha shop to get it fixed. It jumped time for reasons I don’t know, but apparently the ring free additive is a common fix for Yamaha outboards.

Also once you cut pieces into chunks, hit them with mallet for the tougher birds. Really helps so its not so tough.

It was a "living estate sale" the folks had the manuals for everything, router, toaster oven, boats, etc.. Nice folks, probably easily 80 or so, seemed in good health, just downsizing I believe. Beautiful property was up a steep driveway, probably almost 1/4 mile off the road. I can see where it would be too much at that age.

Agree, Bob was the showman, Norm the craftsman.
