undoubtedly...but...a major pull back smacks of a great buy in on those types of stocks/funds, esp SPXL...3x leverage SPY...awesome

the tricky bit is if you had all that money in the market and then it dumps 20-50%...at which point sell your losers (pre-crash) for tax loss, then dump into winners or new speculatives and/or total market...

i read an article on passive investing in the sense that you just dump $X dollars a month into a market index type fund with the asterisk that you put more in when the market moves down more than normal (i.e. typically 1% pre covid times) and less when the market is rallying...that seems like a decent play if you wanna more or less "set and forget"

My boss this morning: Sell moar things pls, your numbers are low.

Me (financial collapse imminent, squeeze imminent, and weather nice): Ok, I'll try and put some more effort in.

That’s not true if you actually can time the market successfully

Extra effort on Friday's can suck lol

I just spent the entire morning getting a robot up to speed after an issue was "resolved."

well, just now the issue came back, and all that work was undone, and I essentially have a very expensive brick again.

All I can think about is it's only 3 hours until I get to go home

Somehow old removed code has made its way back into version control. Removing said code and recompiling results in an out of memory error.

I am already done with today.

$GME needs to retire me before I lose my shit.

I threw it away when I heard all I needed was GME. Before that I was buying every dip and selling every peak of course. But GME sounded easier

someone linked a video of his yesterday and now this pops up in my recommended. He makes some interesting points. Then again current market is all hype and speculation not based on actual numbers apparently.
