    I had one do that a few years back, hanging on by a splinter of bark.
    I used a cheap ratchet strap to pull it into position, then sprayed the broken area with cheap bed liner from Harbor Freight to seal it off from whatever it needed to be sealed from, then wrapped it in paracord. 5-6 years later, the strap and paracord naturally rotted off and the branch is strong as was before.
