not surprised at all, I'm sure there are tons of anti-vaxxers and people who are too afraid to get it that would take advantage of a fake card, given how there's talk that you'll need proof of vaccination to travel in the near future and all that.

 

People have been selling them on FB and they've been selling negative test results for the last year too. I had to leave a group because people were bragging about doing so

yuppp, I'm not so surprised unfortunately. I worked with a guy years ago who bought counterfeit handicap parking cards so he didn't have to walk the 3 blocks from the employee lot

I'm just not surprised given how far people will go to obtain fake IDs and other kinds of documents, it just makes sense that this would happen with the vax cards. Particularly with how polarizing the whole CV19 vaccine is, for a lot of people they probably see it as a way to give the middle finger to everyone else.

had a flight attendant try to get a dr's note from us to get her out of using a faceshield with her mask. Low and behold those at her work who got their vaccine are able to go without them, and shes anti vax trying to use her childhood asthma as an excuse.





yet the change happened 6 months ago and she had been wearing the shield the whole time without issues.
