    FYI smoked out lenses are actually illegal in about every state. Especially any that have inspections. I fail them all the time here. Have to or its my ass.

    Beyond that, unless you have some professionally designed ones with full LEDs that put out the same amount of light past the smoked lenses, your automatically at fault if you get rear ended. Not to mention sorry, but its just stupid because you made it so people can't see your taillights. They are made to meet requirements for a reason.
