It's a gorgeous yellow pepper related to the scorpion. I believe I got that from Gordon Heat as well, but as a large bag of crushed pepper. They also sell whole dehydrated ones and I pop those into honey infusions.

I was making chili before a Superbowl party a few years ago and an acquaintance of mine managed to eat about 1/3 of a teaspoon of my Da Bomb before I could stop him. I'd say that I felt bad for him, but he was the kind of person to ignore warnings.

One of the worst sauces that has become popular. It is just terrible. I hate that stuff with a passion.

I have been using these lately at work for various things. They are really good

It's actually very bad. I thought that at the time, but I was literally just dipping a toothpick in the bottle to add a bit of heat to the chili without getting the taste of the stuff.

I still don't understand the fascination with it on Hot Ones. I am glad they have started rotating more sauces on and off the show. It gives me another chance to look for them at my local hot saucery (I wish this was a thing).

I bought them on a whim. I wanted something less saucy and easier to put on burgers and hot dogs for work functions. It worked out well. The Ghost pepper one is awesome.

I hear Da Bomb is nothing but heat and pain. Haven’t got ahold of any yet.

    paging @otis24 to this thread.

Also, here's some ghost peppers that I grew a few years ago for good measure. (Ghost pepper jams and jellies work out really, really well - lots of heat and flavor at the beginning, then it drops off very quickly.)

It is on a different level and no, it doesn't have a very palatable taste.

I'm well into a bottle of Da Bomb.
It's a lot of heat and pain and has this interesting aroma that reminds me of compost.
I have other hotter hot sauce but Da Bomb is kinda rude.
